It's so hard for us to answer when people ask what kind of music we play. The only real answer is that we're a variety band, unlike any other you've heard! Oh, sure, we play the rock and country that most audiences enjoy, but it's our variety that's stunning. We might pull out some blues, show tunes, swing, disco, techno-pop, latin/salsa (we've even been known to sing some songs in Spanish!) or funk. At one point we even considered changing our name to "Curveball", alluding to how many different directions we might come from. One thing's for sure. It's all danceable and it's all fun. We are able to adapt to almost any crowd but we are especially suited for large groups of people with a lot of different tastes and a real spirit of fun. We choose songs with a crossover appeal while we're at it, too. In other words, the "rock" people should be able to enjoy our jazzier repertoire, and the "country" people ought to enjoy the disco tunes we play, etc, etc. In Cahoots comes in two flavors: with and without the horn section. We of course highly recommend the horns. The spark they add really helps peg the ol' fun meter. You can't describe in words nor hear in the audio clips the huge difference LIVE horns make. It's an immediate in-your-face high-energy sonic assault of power and excitement that has to be experienced to be appreciated.
